Great guesses! Now for the surprise answer. It's pure coincidence that I made this post on the same day that MoveTHEmarkets put up the 2007 Trading Pimp post referring to her, but it's Teresa Lo.

I was reading some of the stuff on her old Powerswings site, and in one of the posts she listed how she screens for good trading stocks. (Her new site is Invivo Analytics).

She included 1) price > 75, 2) 20-day avg volume > 1.5m, 3) sort by ATR from one month ago, 4) re-sort by ROC from one month ago

The guys over at MTM seem to be big fans of her trading course. If I get a couple million to throw around in the futures market like Richard has, I think I'll sign up for it as well :-)

I don't know who you attribute this too but I also use a very similar list that I designate Average Daily Range >$4 last three trading days.

if not Dan Zanger, then someone whose trading style is very similar, like Gary Kaltbaum. I'm not sure who's more famous, although I'm inclined to think Zanger. Golman Sachs sends his nightly report to wealthy subscribers, and I won't be surprised if GS' traders themselves follow Dan's report closely.

Nah, that last one just thinks he's good. He's full of enough hot air to fly Steve Fossett across the Atlantic, MHRIP.

The trader I'm referring to is a well-known professional, at least to the web community.
