Thanks Paul. I once worked out how much more a debt-free dollar in your pocket is worth than an item which you'll pay out with future dollars, plus interest. Paying with debt-free dollars is like getting a >50% raise when you count the increased buying power! The study helped to motivate me to kill debt, and just like you, I'm so glad I have. Even without doing the math, it's easy to see even anecdotally how much farther debt-free dollars go, and it feels so much better knowing that stuff you just unloaded out of the car is completely and forever PAID FOR, even if it's just groceries or a couple of DVDs. Plus, as you say, paying with "real" cash makes one consider the purchase a little more thoroughly...

Appreciate the visit, and still think your site's one of the best swing-trading sites around. Love those pullback plays.

Great post Will.

After years of way too much debt, my wife and I decided to ditch our credit cards. We don't even use them at the pump. It's amazing how having to use cash will change your spending habits.
