<description>[...] I discussed pretty extensively in a post last November the fact that I expected to see sales of Genentech&#8217;s Avastin explode in light of the fact that it had been approved for NSCLC at a dose of 15 mg/kg, three times the previously-approved dose of 5 mg/kg for colorectal cancer. <description>[...] Any other Jungle Book fans out there? Well, either way, an Elephant Never Forgets. Last November I wrote a couple of pleasant little articles on Genentech (ticker: DNA). In the first one, I noted that a break of the 85-86 area could provide an entry for longer-term, um, investors. (If you&#8217;re reading &#8216;em, check out the follow-up post, as well.) <description>Will,

All this fundamental analysis is making my head hurt. Tell it to stop.

Good info. I will have to add it to my watch and wait to pounce list. Hope you've had a great weekend.

<description>Let's say you get about 19 points in the next 5 years that takes it from today at 81 to 100. Thats about 20% which parses out to about 4% a year rough averaging - currently you can get 5.25% out of 6 month CDs and can lock in 5% per annum with a 5 year guaranteed.

Whenever such you might be inclined to long term speculation always ask yourself what is the risk free rate over the same period sometimes it's the same, sometimes it's more and sometimes it's less. If it is less how much less makes the risk worth taking? You have to answer that question.

Good luck.</description>
